Vidmoki is an independent biography website that publishes profiles of notable people, including politicians, entrepreneurs, activists and singers, with a focus on Nigerian and African public figures. Our aim is to give readers a clear, well-sourced starting point for learning about the people shaping public life.
Who runs Vidmoki
Hi, I’m Christopher Iwundu, the founder and writer behind Vidmoki. Professionally, I work as Freelance Tech and B2B Saas content writer and Strategist.
I started this site to help readers learn more about public figures and their favorite celebrities through well-sourced, easy-to-read biographies.
Every profile is researched from official records and reputable news sources, and I update pages when new information comes out.

Why Vidmoki exists
Many online biographies repeat each other, skip their sources or go out of date. We try to do three things differently:
- Cite where facts come from, so readers can check them.
- Keep profiles current when someone’s role, party or status changes.
- Separate verified facts from estimates and claims, especially on sensitive topics like family, wealth and politics.
What we cover
Our profiles typically include early life and background, education, career milestones, public roles, publicly known personal life, and, where credible sources exist, net worth estimates. We organise them by category (Politicians, Entrepreneurs, Singers and Activists) so you can find the people you’re interested in.
How we research and choose sources
- Primary and official sources first. We start with official biographies, government and institutional websites, court and public records, and the person’s own verified statements.
- Established news outlets next. We use reporting from recognised publications such as Punch, Channels Television, Premium Times, THISDAY, BusinessDay.
- Secondary sites last, and only for context. We don’t treat celebrity or “net worth” sites as proof of a fact on their own.
- We link our sources. Each profile ends with a Sources section so you can read the originals.
How we handle sensitive information
- Living people. We include only information that is publicly documented. We don’t publish private details such as home addresses, children’s personal information or unverified rumours.
- Net worth. Net worth figures are almost never officially disclosed. When we include one, we say where it comes from and that it is an estimate, and we leave it out when we can’t find a credible source.
- Disputed claims. When reputable sources disagree, we say so rather than choosing one version without explanation.
How we check facts and update pages
Before publishing, we check names, dates, titles and family relationships against at least one reliable source, and re-read the finished article for contradictions. We review and update profiles when major events happen, such as elections, appointments or deaths, and at least every 1 month.
Corrections and removal requests
We want our profiles to be accurate. If you spot an error or outdated information:
- Email contact@vidmoki.xyz with the page URL, what you think is wrong, and a source if you have one.
- We aim to review corrections within 3 business days and update the page when the information can be verified.
- If you are the subject of a profile and want something corrected or removed, email removals@vidmoki.xyz. We review these case by case.
Independence and advertising
Our editorial decisions aren’t influenced by advertisers. We display ads through Google AdSense to support the site, and we don’t accept payment to publish or change a profile.
